Touch-Typing Course

Learn to touch-type using a variety of fun games aimed at introducing correct posture and finger placement. Throughout the course, children will be taught to correctly type the letter keys with the focus being on accuracy initially then, once confidence improves, on building speed. Children are also taught, if ready, to use shift keys for capital letters and will be introduced to basic punctuation such as full stop, comma, apostrophe and question mark. Due to the variety of programs available the course is suitable for complete beginners or those who would like to improve their typing skills. This course is recommended for ages 7 and up.

Whizzkids is an excellent teaching experience for kids wanting to get to grips with increasingly essential skills like touch typing (and not just texting) and also how to use software packages, understand building web pages, coding and more.
